Prayer: We will pray for you. If you have a prayer concern, send it to the pastor (gary@umcwv.org).

Activities: We offer a variety of programs for all ages in a nurturing environment. Participation will give you the opportunity to meet new people and find a place to belong. Our ministry includes worship and music, fellowship, education and outreach. For more information about these programs, see the "What We Do" section.

Baptism and church membership: If you are interested in being baptized or becoming a member, contact the pastor (gary@umcwv.org) to arrange for baptism or to attend the next membership orientation meeting. All are welcome to join.
Members are expected to:

• Seek to worship regularly
• Strive to continue to grow in your faith
• Look for ways to serve God through hands-on ministry
• Give, in proportion to your income, to God through the church

A Safe Sanctuary: Every United Methodist Church has a Safe Sanctuaries Policy "to demonstrate our absolute and unwavering commitment to the physical safety and spiritual growth of all of our children and youth."

Weddings: The words "To love and to Cherish" from the marriage ceremony are just as significant to a wedding couple today as when they were first given, many hundreds of years ago. When you repeat them, you will be stepping into a tradition in which countless other couples have also stood. Our Church is here to serve you within the bounds of our tradition and the sacred tradition of marriage with the hope that your marriage ceremony will be the finest possible. The sanctuary, prayer chapel, and other rooms in our facility are available for large or small weddings. Only United Methodist ministers can officiate services at our Church.

Counseling by the Pastor is required. This time of getting acquainted and counseling is an invaluable aid in providing for an enduring marriage and the development of a marriage service you will appreciate and long remember. This time will be scheduled with the pastor and should be held as soon as possible and as far before the marriage date as can be arranged. Contact the pastor by email (gary@umcwv.org) or by phone at the church office for scheduling.

A home wedding can also be a beautiful and meaningful occasion. If you would like to hold your wedding in a home or garden setting, please speak to contact the Pastor. He will be glad to discuss and help you plan this kind of a wedding and set up a date and time.

The church has a wedding hostess who will discuss wedding ceremony details and fees with each couple. She may be contacted by email (Sharon@umcwv.org) or by phone at the church office.

Memorial and Funeral Services: The sanctuary, prayer chapel, and other rooms in our facility are available for memorial and funeral services. Only United Methodist ministers can officiate services at our Church. Contact the pastor by email (gary@umcwv.org) or phone at the church office for scheduling and details.
